sortimat is headquartered in Winnenden, in the State of Baden-Württemberg, south-western Germany. Our assembly and feeder-technology operations are also based in Winnenden. And in July 2006, we moved our young and thriving handling-systems business to a new location in Baden-Württemberg – the town of Villingen-Schwenningen. Solutions are developed, designed and built by sortimat professionals at both sites.
And we’ve also extended our development and production activities to the USA and India, bringing us closer to global markets and making transportation easier and more cost-effective.
Our site in Schaumburg near Chicago predominantly manufactures assembly machines for the medical technology, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and healthcare, and electronics and electrical industries, as well as for diagnostic devices. The facility delivers across the USA and Central America. In addition, sortimat Technology India has a thriving production facility in Chinchwad near Pune – enabling us to penetrate the burgeoning Asian manufacturing industry.
