Managing Directors Hans-Dieter Baumtrog and Ulrich Klöpfer regularly open the company’s doors to independent inspectors. sortimat operations in Germany have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995, and in the US since 1999. Since 2001, the German facility has also been certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485, the quality management standard for medical devices. sortimat is also involved in various industry organizations such as VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V), EFAC (European Factory Automation Committee), AMT (Association of Manufacturing Technology), and TMA (Tooling Manufacturers’ Association).
